Answer: Laserquest is a futuristic space adventure played out in a darkened arena. Each player has a pack and a laser gun. The object of the game is to shoot your opponents to a gain a score. The person with the highest score wins that game.
Answer: No running, No climbing on the scenery, No physical contact, No crouching or crawling on the floor. It is extremely important that these safety rules are adhered to for the interest of everybody's safety.
Answer: The minimum age is 6 but it also depends on the height and build of the child, as the packs are all one size. If you wish to try a pack, just ask a member of staff.
Answer: No, We use only Class II lasers, which are regulated by a safety cut-off system which only allows them to fire for short bursts, which will not damage your eyes.
Answer: Game sessions run every 20 minutes, starting on the hour, 20 & 40 minutes past the hour. We are open 10am-10pm Monday to Friday, 10am-10pm Saturday and 10am-10pm Sunday.
Answer: Each game session lasts approximately 20 minutes in total. This includes 5 minutes for a safety briefing and explanation on how to play the game, kit-up and kit-down time. The remaining 15 minutes is your game time in the arena.
Answer: It is highly advisable to book, as we cannot otherwise ensure availability, especially on weekends.
Answer: Although the minimum number is 2 players, games are more enjoyable with more people. If your group contains a small number we will endeavour to fit you in with another group.
Answer: Not necessarily, spaces are only guaranteed if they are booked in advance, ideally try and contact us as soon as you know of extra players so we can endeavour to book-out the additional spaces for your group. That said we will try our best to accommodate changes on the day, availability allowing.
Answer: Yes, very much so. We offer parties including drinks and food for the party guests, also we include a free gift for the birthday child. Check out our Birthday Party Packages section, pick up a leaflet, or ask a member of staff for more details.
Answer: Unfortunately no, however you can view the game briefly if you want to. Just ask a member of staff, who will show you around.
Answer: Yes. There is a game marshal who supervising the game and ensuring that the safety rules are being adhered to.
Answer: Yes we offer membership. Membership includes discounts on all games and the opportunity to play in leagues and in regional, national & international competitions. There are regular bi-weekly exclusive members nights, tournaments and trophies to be won.
Answer: There are racks in the kit-up room where you can hang coats. Valuables such as mobile phones can be taken with you as Laserquest is not a physical game. Alternatively there are pay lockers in the reception area near to the briefing room entrance where valuables can be securely locked away. We cannot be responsible for any personal belongings not securely locked away in the provided lockers.
Answer: We have an Internet & PC Gaming cafe Wiredinn for older children and adults, and Spaceplay a Softplay facility for younger children. In addition to that we also have a pool table & plenty of video arcade machines, which are frequently changed to keep the mix fresh & regularly maintained by our Arcade Machine Supplier TVC Leisure.
